In 1999, I started freelance writing for one of the major newspapers in Maine, the Sun Journal. You can visit its website at http://www.sunjournal.com. I gradually moved into a part-time copy editor/page designer position for Special Sections in the Advertising department. At some newspapers, Special Sections is part of the Newsroom, but not where I work. In 2004, I was hired as the editor of Special Sections. In the fall of 2007, I began my college career as an Arts & Humanities undergrad at the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston Auburn College. Since that time, I have taken classes for 14 consecutive semesters. I hope to graduate with a BA this May with 4.0 GPA - yeeha! You can visit USM LAC's site at http://usm.maine.edu/lac
